Keep your receipt

Chris C, Apple Store
15 October 2012
  • Summary: The sound quality of these headphones is great, but they simply do not last. I've currently had about 5 replacements including 2 of this model and 3 of the previous model. After about 3 months the wiring comes lose and the sound will keep cutting out of one of the ear phones. Just make sure you keep your receipt. Good news is Bose are pretty good are replacing without quibble, just wish they made them better quality in the first place.

Headset was not compatible to my Mobile

Bree, ABT Electronics
3 October 2012
  • Summary: Product only compatible with Iphone. This should be stated very clear, product is not compatible with any other product. Service superior, customer service was very professional and friendly. Did not hesitate to address problem and issue a call tag. Although the e-mail was delay for 24 hours, which you CS warned me.
  • Cons: Only For Apple Products

Good but they don't last very long

mateash2002 , johnlewis.com
21 June 2014
  • Summary: Bought these headphones about a year ago and they were relatively good. Can't really hear much of the music if you're in a town center or just walking next to a busy road but at home they do sound pretty good. The main problem however is that the cable broke after just over a year. Value for money for these headphones is just awful.

  • Summary: Sounds quality was great from my iPod Nano. Unfortunately, the in-line volume controls make this model incompatible with my Blackberry Torch.

Not Great for Airtravel

Tracy D, Apple
24 March 2013
  • Summary: Having tried to use them this year on a Air Canada long haul flight, I can say they don't work well at all. They caused terrible interference rendering them useless. I had to use the terribly uncomfortable ones they provide you with in flight. For use with the iPhone 4S they are great, comfortable and great sound, but for some reason they didn't work in flight, shame!!

poor noise isolation

Stuart F, Apple
17 March 2013
  • Summary: having just parted with £100 for these I am not that impressed. Sound quality is nice if you are in quiet room. I used them at the gym and all I can hear was the noise around me and not my music. I am going to give them a bit longer but not that impressed...once opened and used I cannot send back so ebay it is....

Remote control does not work on skip track.

Suthinee S, Apple
15 October 2012
  • Summary: Great sound as always but remote control does not work on skip track, forward or rewind. Defeat the purpose of using it hand free really. The volume control works ok. But just that. So another trip back to the store to return.

Comfortable, but...

J S, Apple
22 September 2012
  • Summary: Very comfortable, stay in the ear and you will forget they are there: no pressure like from the ones that go inside your ear canal. Lack base, the rest of the sound spectrum is fine. Now, why only two stars? The remote control is not as easy to use as in Klipsch head phones, for example.

Disappointing

Simon R, Apple
5 May 2012
  • Summary: I bought these on the strength of the reviews here (and previous experience with Bose) but was SO disappointed. The earphones sound fantastic when used in a silent room but as soon as you step outside into the real world all you hear is the sound of everything around you - traffic, passing conversations, everything. The music playing takes second stage.
