Summary: First off I'm a big fan of Bose so I was very excited to get this pair of earbuds for myself as a Christmas present. I had read the reviews here and remember my daughter telling me how good the sound was out of the older pair (the ones without the piece that extends on to your ear). When I finally went to use them (I did wait until Christmas) I tried all three sizes of ear buds to try to find a fit for my ear. I settled with the large size.
Summary: After reading many reviews I was convinced that this might be the one, unfornately this product wasn't for me. The first thing my kids said was where's the bass. The other issue is yes, you can use these earbuds to talk, but the microphone is in the cord, when your are talking, the other person complains about hearing your every movement and then the most important deal breaker is, you have to use the phone to control the volume and answer a call.
Summary: I bought these for my teenage son last year for Christmas. Yes, the sound is amazing and they fit comfortably. However, the problem with the insulation cracking where the wire joins the earbuds that I read about in reviews last year just happened to us and now one earbud doesn't get sound. Glad I bought the 3 year Square Trade Warranty as they are being shipped back today for a refund. Not sure they are worth replacing if this is a fairly common problem.
Summary: These were a huge disappointment. Waste of money in my case. I'll use them where sound quality doesn't matter, like watching movies on my Kindle Fire. Sound quality is so inferior to my Bang & Olufsen earbuds. It's even more inferior to my Bose on-ear phones. Very comfortable, though, and don't fall out.
Summary: Brand new - The earphones work fine up to 65% volume capacity. Anything past that and they couldn't handle the bass in any of my songs. The right earphone started buzzing, and it sounded like there was sand in my right ear. I never like to return products and I am not one to complain, but after reading the reviews myself I took a chance in purchasing these. I am very dissatisfied and would discourage anyone from buying them.
Summary: I still love Bose for its comfort and sound. I purchased two IE2 in 6 months gap and both of their wires ripped after a year. I take pretty good care of my ear phones but these ones are just badly made.
Summary: If you're the type of person who likes loud bass, then these are perfect for you. They are loud, very loud. And the way they created this artificial bass meant everything else was made quieter. These are great for a quiet environment such as the home or office, but if you're outside, all you hear is bass, anything else is barely audible. The case and extra ear buds are very nice, and Bass support is top knotch.
Summary: For the price I expected allot more from these headphones. They block little to no sound, bass is nonexistent and they don't even go as loud as the inexpensive JCV inear headphones I upgraded from. They also feel like they are going to fall out and don't have a great fit. Sound is overall good but not that good. Avoid if you like real inear headphones.
Summary: Well as the title of the review said its great has top notice sound fit comfortably sleek design, BUT if you are listening to music at a normal volume never you hear EVERYTHING around you.... which is the biggest con you need to almost max the volume to drown out the normal street sounds and the over all problem with that is it bothers other people at the work place while enjoying your music for the price of the product the lack of any sound isolation is sad.
