Summary: There is a reason music professionals do not buy Bose. I highly suspect a lot of these reviews are plants :/.
Cons: -Bose is overpriced, always. -Bose doesn't publish any specifications, the reason is their sound quality almost universally sucks (they claim they don't because knowing the specifications would 'ruin the experience' between user and product *bose employee proceeds to taste his farts while smackin...
Summary: It's a shame the price is $200 now. I paid $130 for them many years ago when they were still sold in stores before the AE2s came out, which do not even compare to how good these headphones are. They took a major step back with the AE2s.
Pros: Used to be $130 originally Exceptional sound quality for $130 price Comfy ear pads ears comfortably fit deep into the cans Durable ear pads that don't dry up and crack My first pads lasted many years without visual wear extremely light weight long life span Fairly durable Good flexible range on cans
Cons: Have replaced the headphone plug many many times Plug is very difficult, but not impossible to replace. Cable lacks durability Could use more padding on the headband
Summary: Awesome quality sound for the price. comfort is great for the price, but could be better I've listened to a pair of those beats headphones which are equal value, and I think these have much better quality sound. Definitely worth the buy
Pros: Amazing sound, by far the best and highest quality pair I've even owned. Very accurate highs and very accurate base down to the lowest freqs. They don't show off a lot of bass which I like. The overall balance of the headphones is very nice. nothing gets too loud. The very high freqs do not blare...
Cons: The top head band can become uncomfortable and is not padded well enough, but if you adjust it well enough you can lessen the pressure on top of your head. The cable plug became shorted recently. I had it replaced and now they work again. I would not recommend doing it yourself because of the lac...
Pros: Decent sound quality, and handles the elements fairly well, almost made it through all 4 years of college in Minnesota with me using them on my way to class for both music and earmuffs.
Cons: The cord connection at the ear is a bit weak, and where mine finally gave out (leaving me with a single working side), and the cup isn't quite large enough to cover my ear fully. The lack of folding as offered on some other headphones also makes these a bit bulkier to take with you if you aren't ...
Cons: The materials that make up the headphones are horrible. I've owned 3 pairs now. Both broke in the same order; the material that wrap the cushions both came apart after 6months and the plastic snapped.
Summary: C'mon Bose. I know you know that these are a cheap build, yet the design has stayed the same for years. Do you not care about product quality? I commend you for your sound expertise, but it seems like you are counting on these cans to break.
Pros: Great sound - and boy do I mean great!
Cons: Incredibly cheap build. I bought these headphones twice, and they both broke in under a year. I wasn't going to buy them again. My friend bought a pair cause he liked the sound too. His broke also.
Summary: People say the headphones seem to break after a year and I see no problem with that. The components within the headphones start to wear and break down after a year. Then sound quality will decrease. It also depends how much you use your headphones.
Pros: The sound is very clear. Though they aren't noise canceling headphones they do a good job at keeping outside noises at bay.
Cons: This may or may not be a con but they don't feel durable but at the same time they are lightweight.
