Summary: The AE2i very ironically is the first headphone I've purchased in over a year (at least 30 headphones) that had such a good balance that I didn't feel the need to use any EQ. The overall sound quality isn't significantly better than the best $200 USD headphones given any EQ adjustments for the other headphones, but the combination of good balance, excellent soundstage, very good portability and outstanding comfort gets a highly recommended from me.
Pros: I received these as a gift and they are the best pair of headphones I have owned. They are small yes, but the sound quality is great, and these suckers are durable. I've tripped stepped dropped yanked cords out forcefully and the headphone could care less. Also the replacement pieces are affordable if you do happen to damage them (after 6 months still working like day 1). My last set of headphones were made by a popular gamer brand. They cost over 100 dollars and last...
Pros: These headphones sound great and they're very durable. I am careful with them but they are solid. I have owned these for over a year now and decided to review. The cups are very comfortable. Bass and sound is amazing. I highly suggest these.
Cons: The padding on top isn't the best and it can hurt after a long period of use, but, it's nothing taking them off for a minute won't fix.
