Summary: I bought these after having owned Bose QC15s for several years and having used them in many different environments including long flights and on boats. Those are great, the noise canceling feature is fantastic and sound quality is great. Wanting to get with the times and shed my wires for Bluetooth, I got these headphones. Long story short, when I received them and tried them out, I was highly disappointed.
Summary: I just returned mine. I had it for almost a month and listened for hours at a time (Jo Jo, Mozart, System of a Down, Lil Wayne, Thomas Chapin). I like that it is very light and comfortable worn for a long time. I also like that you can also use with a cable (non-wireless). I don't like the bluetooth adapter you plug in, it sticks out like a wart and I don't like that you can't listen while it is charging like the Beats Wireless.
Very dissapointed not as good as the older model Triport!

Summary: I always right reviews to help others out. I have been looking for a good set of headphones that go around the ear, that are comfortable and the closed ear design to cut fan and computer noise in my apartment. I have been using a pair of the older model triport Bose for several months that I borrowed from a good friend. They had a good sound to them but were a little tight to wear after several hours of use.
Audio quality is great, but headphones do not last

Summary: These head phone were given to me as a gift about 2 years ago. They sound amazing and fit quite well. That is till they start falling apart. First the left ear cup just detached from the rest of the head phones. I fixed that with some super glue. Now I find the the foam is starting to come out and the fabric on the ear cup is falling apart. Over all I do not recommend this product.
Much worse sound than the previous model, Triport/AE1

Summary: The Bose AE2 is supposedly the next generation of Bose's famous Triport line, which was later renamed simply Around Ear, now retroactively referred to as AE1 in light of this new model, the AE2, i.e., Around Ear 2. The AE2s are not merely a cosmetic redesign of the Triports/AE1s, and they are certainly not an improvement. They have much worse sound.
Summary: I accept that (and for 200 quid they should be) good sound quality, however, when used as a headset for skype/mobile phones on calls etc. they are appalling. The mic is too far away from the mouth to be effective and the units bluetooth capability is really not very good at all, it wont consistently connect to my MAC Air, or android phone it keeps dropping off and says - connection failed!
