carneywes79, Ebay
3 December 2013
  • Summary: Good call quality light weight comfortable to wear. Disliked it was a refurbished device, knowing would have impacted purchase decision. Power charger that shipped was defective. Mesh covering microphone had been glued down. Glue held for less than a day of use.

It sucks.

flyingmonkeyslayer1, Ebay
12 November 2013
  • Summary: My husband needs a voice activated bluetooth. His old one broke in such a way that it can't be fixed. This looked like a good one, but the first one arrived with the earpiece snapped off. Seller was great and sent a replacement, so no problem there. Second one wouldn't stay connected with the phone. It would connect when it felt like it, then just randomly drop off, so he's talking with his phone in his pocket doing no good.

Good sound quality. Cheap material.

  • Summary: Had the over the ear piece not broken each time upon mounting it to the device I would have surely been satisfied with the device. As it is, it was a huge wasted of my time!! I don't know how it was ranked in the "best of" list on CNET.
  • Pros: connected seamlessly, stayed connected and provided decent quality sound with no complaints from callers.
  • Cons: Voice commands seldom worked. The over the ear pieces is terrible and cheaply made.

There are MUCH better bluetooth on the market!

BCARTERTechGeek, CNET
20 January 2013
  • Summary: I bought this bluetooh based on the features set and the supposed ability of the bluetooth to filter out background and wind noise. It fails at both background and wind noise cancellation. People on the other end FREQUENTLY (like every other call) tell me I am cutting out and they are missing whole words. When I'm out in the wind (light wind 10 - 15 mph) callers say I am unintelligible and I have to go to the handset to finish the conversation.
  • Pros: Voice commands, Comfortable Fit
  • Cons: Range, Cuts in and out making conversation impossible, BlueAnt Software causes phone to reboot, Caller-ID by name MOST of the time gives the wrong name, BlueAnt's only answer to ANY tech complaint is to reset and re-pair

Works Great - Falls Apart!

gadgetman01, CNET
19 September 2012
  • Summary: If BlueAnt can get these to stay together for a few years they will have the very best bluetooth on the market! I can't recommend something that falls apart in only 2 months, no matter how good it sounds.
  • Pros: - Crisp & clear audio, - Easy set-up
  • Cons: - I went thru 2 of the Q2s in 4 months. I take very good care of my electronics. In just 2 months, both literally fell apart!, - Lost connectivity with iPhone4 often for no reason.

  • Summary: I bought this Q2 about 6 months ago. I was living in the US at the time. I didn't use it a lot the first months. maybe 2-3 a week for some time on the computer for use on Skype. The connection to the computer was mostly okay. Sometimes it would not connect automatically.
  • Pros: - can connect to 2 devices (computer and phone for example), - good sound quality, - fits well
  • Cons: - poor build quality, - poor customer service, - hit or miss automatic connectivity
