The beyerdynamic T50P is a headphone that features newly redesigned transducers that produce high drive power of over one Tesla and is based on Helbronn technology. The headphone designed with filigreed diaphragm and allows the unit to reproduce every nuance of sound that is transparent, spatially realistic and distortion-free.

Features

The beyerdynamic T50P features re-engineered drive magnets and thin foil diaphragm which allows the unit to play twice as loud as standard headphones. It is designed with 600-Ohm coils that are known for their lightness with sound fidelity, allowing the headphone to produce sounds of up to 7 decibels. The unit also features a neodymium magnet system that has been repositioned into a ring around the coil, allowing for a more than doubling of the magnetic flux density to approximately 1.2 Tesla. This new configuration of the magnet system enables a central ventilation hole through the pole cores to prevent sound-disrupting resonances and cancellations. The diaphragm in the headphone has also been redeveloped to consist of a two-ply compound foil that is light-weight and provides for interior absorption of break-up vibrations. The earpieces have been curved as such that acoustic baffle follows the contour of the human ear cup and accommodates the wearer’s individual acoustic "fingerprint". Other features on the beyerdynamic T50P include symmetrical 6-pole cable that possesses two parallel sets of identical twin wires. Each separately insulated to lower cable capacity and reduce interference fields and crosstalk; open earpieces, covered through a metal grate which shields them from disruptive sonic reflections and protected against moisture through Acoustexx, a high-end acoustic mesh.
