Fantastic pair of headphones, my most used piece of audio equipment
10 November 2014
Excerpt: I first purchased these almost 5 years ago and they've been my "daily driver" since then. One of the most important aspects I was looking for in a set of headphones was comfort. Prior to these, I owned a pair of Grado SR60is and while they were okay sound quality wise, there were murdering my ears.
Excellent sound, Very comfortable, fatigue free, Highly recommended.

Summary: I bought these 'phones for 'easy and relaxed listening' and found them to be excellent - these ones are the 250 ohm version as this is easier to mate up with different head-amps - I have not found any significant difference in sound to the 600 ohm version, apart from the amplifier loading.
Summary: Simply put, the best headphones I have ever used. Build quality is outstanding. Very solid, but not heavy enough to hurt your head if you wear it for extended periods of time. When used along with my Beresford DAC and AMP, the Beyerdynamic DT880 is just orgasmic to use.
Summary: I've read a few reviews of the DT880 and many of them mention a thin, narrow, or pinched quality to the bass. I was hugesly disappointed when I got mine to find this true. My in-ear Klipsch 'phones made a much better impact though less detail and rougher through the rest of the spectrum.
Pros: No colouration, perfect window on the original sound
Excerpt: How long have you use it? I use it for a few days, so it will be a review hot, like the first impression, perhaps premature. I never write an opinion or rarely, but now I want because it's a kind of revelation guys.
