Summary: This written review was essentially my script for the following video review, so the information contained in both is more or less identical. If you want a closer look at the H3, watch the video review! :)
The H3 was something of an aspirational purchase for me, as ever since I began getting interested in audio I was always fascinated by Bang and Olufsen’s fantastic speaker and telephone designs.
Pros: Warm, pleasant sound, open natural soundstage, fine metal finishing
Cons: Poor quality cable, lacks some definition, relatively pricey
Excerpt: The product looks and sounds fantastic. The carrying case is top quality and stylish. The ear piece is comfortable and comes in various sizes. The cord is long and has a nice color. The product is best used 3 to 4 times a week when traveling to and from work. The negative aspects are only a 1 year warranty. ABT does not provide additional warranty. The product appears fragile and may not withstand every day use and constant wrapping and pulling of cable.
Summary: These headphones have a nice open soundstage for an earbud headphone and are relatively comfortable to wear. The sound does seem to "settle" and refine somewhat after some time of burning in. They sound quite natural and relaxed especially at lower volumes but turn up the volume and these bad boys come alive. I find the slightly flat sound at lower volume levels does pay off at higher listening volume. They are not harsh or fatiguing and very satisfying to listen too.
Pros: Balanced open sound, decent bass, good fit, plays loud and sound great doing it
Cons: Pricey, May not be the strongest cable and connecters
Summary: The design of the product is quite good...But it's not as good as I expected...And the price dropped after I bought it. The sound is not really clear and sound leakage is serious...Anyway, the sound effect doesn't match the price.
Summary: Nothing special for the price. Good quality metalwork (to be expected) but low quality wiring and sound, poor bass. The volume controls only work on iPhone which is limiting. The earbuds that come with it are uncomfortable but can be replaced cheaply.
Summary: Absolutely worst in ear headphones ever!! Can't believe I actually bought these, there is no bass whatsoever, tinny sounding. Apple earphones are better & there rubbish, think I'll have to re invest in a pair of Bose @ half the price. Look good but are absolute rubbish!!!!!!!!!
