Awesome sound!

Finndog, Crutchfield
16 September 2015
  • Summary: These things are amazing. The sound quality is excellent, the highs and lows are great. Good bass without having to blow you eardrums out. Can't wait to hook these up to a record player to hear how good vinyl sounds.
  • Pros: Quality of the materials, the headphones don't make my ears sweat or heat up. Sounds ate top notch
  • Cons: A little tight on my head ( I have a big head, not a knock on the product)

Bowers & Wilkins P5

sitac402, Crutchfield
7 September 2015
  • Summary: Excellent set of headphones. Well built. Zero problems. Have used only indoors so far. Classy looking. Great sound quality.
  • Pros: Quality construction, good sound & classy looking.
  • Cons: Might be too warm to wear for exercise since this type of headphone really covers your ears more than earbud types.

Solid Product

MarkH, Crutchfield
2 August 2015
  • Summary: The sound is excellent with and without the detachable wire, really indistinguishable difference. Note that the P5s are very sensitive to equalizer settings: e.g., if there's too much/ too little bass just adjust the equalizer to get the sound you desire.
  • Pros: sound consistency, battery life, feel.
  • Cons: a bit heavy and a bit sticky on the size adjustment.

Nice Headphones!

Kenneth, Crutchfield
4 June 2014
  • Summary: I love these. They may not be the absolute best sounding headphones available at any price. For the price, they are very nice. The sound is excellent, the build is excellent, they do a great job of blocking outside sound, and the leather feels so good.
  • Pros: Everything about them is first class.
  • Cons: None

Refurbished Bowers & Wilkins P5

Ron Mc, Crutchfield
21 March 2014
  • Summary: My P5 is a solid 5 Stars. I tested this product against another top headset and without question, the P5 was unmatched. The db ratio is outstanding. You better have top notch recordings or the P5 will let you know.
  • Pros: Sound quality.
  • Cons: No blue tooth capability.

Bowers and Wilkins P5 Refurbished

John V., Crutchfield
21 March 2014
  • Summary: The ability to buy a factory refurbished P5 is why I afforded this purchase. And, it was well worth the expense. Sound is full and clear with decent bass. The comfort is great. This might be because these headphones have been used, but there was no break-in period as with other headphones I have...
  • Pros: Sound, build quality, comfort, and cost at the price point of a factory refurbished item. Warrantee is two years.
  • Cons: None for its type size and style.

Just buy them!

Rolo T, Crutchfield
16 February 2014
  • Summary: These P5's are amazing. The sound clear and ture even without a headphone amp. The fit and finish is the best I've ever seen and you don't look ridiculous wearing them. I only gave noise reduction 4 stars because I can still hear stuff going on in the background when I wear them at the office.
  • Pros: Looks great, sounds great quality build.
  • Cons: Not perfect noise reduction, but the are great as far as non-noise cancelation headphones go.

Best headphones ever

Osa007, CNET
18 October 2012
  • Summary: I plugged this into my Windows phone and Zune. It made music on my Windows phone and Zune MP3 player sound fantastic. These headphones really take advantage of your quality or decent MP3 audio files. I hear things I never heard before.
  • Pros: 2 year warranty compared to 1 year by other brands, built quality, comfortable, and sound is fantastic.
  • Cons: The cord does not seem that long enough, and built in mic is hit and miss with Windows phone. I can only pause, sometimes control volume, and I can use the microphone.

  • Cons: A bit uncomfortable if you're wearing glasses after a while.
