Excerpt: Use this headset for sports broadcasts (hockey, football, baseball, basketball). Good frequency range, comfortable, the flexible boom is good for less experienced broadcasters who have poorer mic position awareness (you can adjust it for them before the broadcast). Personally, I changed out the ear pads with Auray velour replacement pads, but that's just a personal preference - the ones it comes with are fine.
Pros: Comfortable, Good Bass, Good Value, Great Sound
Excerpt: Audio-Technica's broadcast headset is one of if not the very best you can get on the market, and B&H's price is unbeatable. As a Canadian customer, this was nearly half the price I would have paid to purchase this equipment in my own country, and I was able to scoop up two headsets for just a little more than one would have cost me over the border. Factor in the free shipping and no tax on the listed price and I couldn't be happier with this purchase.
Pros: Comfortable, Compact, Durable, Good Value, Great Sound, Lightweight
Excerpt: Use the head set for high school football broadcast and they work great! You can spent more money but why? Ordered on a Monday afternoon and they came in on Wednesday about lunch. Thanks so much, will check with you first.
Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Good Value, Great Sound, Lightweight
Excerpt: my broadcasters love them and said they are the best headphones that they have ever used. in fact they want me to replace the old set. they actually try and beat each other to the rink to get them before the other one does. will consider it if they are good boys.
Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Good Bass, Great Sound, Lightweight
Excerpt: I've owned this unit now for 2 1/2 years. Being Audio-Technica, I was expecting some very high quality headphones, but these continue to disappoint. The headphone quality is excellent, which I would expect nothing less from them. The level of comfort is very good. But the rest of the hardware is somewhat awful. The first thing I noticed after purchasing these was the very loud hinge creaking noise (in your hears) coming from the arms.
Pros: Easy To Repair, Good Bass, Good Value, Great Sound, High Gauge Cord, Lightweight, Long Cord, Tangle-resistant Cord
Cons: Low Gain Microphone, Noisy Plastic Arms, Poor Quality Earpads
