  • Summary: The headset was a gift for my dear husband (77). He has hearing issues but is an avid music fan, you tube, itunes etc. He has had several inexpensive headsets but is very pleased and impressed withe quality of the sound with this one. Of course, I am happy that he is! Much of the technical info and reviews were over my head but clearly, it was a good choice.

Amazing

  • Summary: I know very little about aduio quality but what i can tell you that i deffinitley can tell the difference. I have a pair of Cooler Master Sirus S that are 5.1 and with the XFi-3D ausio turned on these really outperform those. I considered the Sirus S to be the top tier of Headphones till I bought these.
  • Pros: portability. design. deep lows great mids and highs cables that you can lock in a springy extension cord Cheap comparatively
  • Cons: only thing that would make theses headphones better is a better mid sounds. have noticed that its a bit lacking. at first the round earform pad are terrible. They hurt like crazy. I bought some M50 replacement earpads and that solved most of my ear aches. I didn't find theses sooner

Ideal DJ Heaphones

TRIPSY, B&H Photo
25 February 2014
  • Excerpt: These headphones are great! SOUND QUALITY EQ: The sound is crisp, but not harsh in the highs. The mids are rich and full. The lows are boosted, but I love what it does for house music : ) I can sense what the bass line of a track will feel like when I play it out at a gig. Dynamic Range: The dynamic range on these are top notch. The space is easily felt : ) (They cancel out noise fairly well. A TV that could be heard from 10 ft way, was cancelled out at 5 ft.
  • Pros: Clear Sound, Compact, Durable, Easy To Use, Lightweight, Versatile
  • Cons: Minuscule Discomfort

  • Pros: great bass! great mids and highs! I looked pasted the comfort on this badboys and just went into the sound quality you can always switch out the padding but the sound on these things is just incredible and for such an affordable price you cant go wrong!
  • Cons: None! Except maybe comfort at times but I already fixed that with different padding

"Great quality sound!"

By a customer from yahoo.com, zzounds.com

  • Excerpt: The sound is excellent. The bass frequencies are very prominent after burning them in, however the highs and mids remain and are crisp and clear. The sound does not distort, even at the highest volumes. There are probably headphones with a higher quality of sound than these, but definitely not within this price range. These give you the full experience of listening to your music with great sound and for me the almost perfect blend of highs, mids, and lows.

  • Excerpt: First off let it be know that I do not label myself an Audiophile, I just a ordinary avid music love, and I so happen to listen to a wide array of music on a daily basis. I happen to listen to R&B, hip-hop, rock, dubstep, reggae, trance, downtempo, game soundtracks (Skyrim OST, ACII OST, etc.), and many more various audio tracks. I also have owned a few of the mainstream headsets from Beats by Dre, to Sennheisers HD series, to other AudioTechnica over the ear cans.
  • Pros: Consistent, Easy To Use, Excellent Sound, Professional Features, Versatile
