  • Summary: Unlike many of the other reviewers, I am not so pleased with the frequency response on these headphones. I listen to a variety of music, on bass heavy songs, these sound muddy seemingly emphasizing the bass at the expense of the mid range. As others have pointed out, the cup size may be a bit small. The band feels tight after about an hour and the seams start digging into my neck when I dont have it over my head.

  • Summary: Have had this same pair for almost 3 years now. Have never had a problem with them. Use them mostly attached to my laptop or an iPod. Note that these will drain a battery powered music player like an iPod much faster then "eye-bud" style earphones. Overall, sound quality is good, they cancel some external noise but not all.

  • Summary: I used VModa Vibe earbuds for about two years and the wire of the earbuds become stiff. Thus, I bought ATH-Pro5MS as an alternative. After few weeks' listening and comparing with Vibe on my Sansa View with MP3 compression ratio 192K and better for easy listening, pop, and classical music pieces, I would say Pro5MS is at about the same sound quality as Vibe.

  • Summary: first off these are way better than any standard, icluded in box headphones you'll get. they not only have unique artwork (the biggest positive)but pretty good sound. The camo is sooo gnarly. you'll look cool as f fo sho. but anyways, back to english, the sound isn't as hiigh quality as i hoped. but still they are pretty good. they keep out the sound and have quality materials except for the small cords right by the ear.

  • Summary: I purchased the ATH-PRO5MS because I needed good headphones that would also muffle outside noise (since I take the train every day). Although they are not noise canceling, I have to say that for $50 these are great headphones. They provide an excellent range of sound and they have allowed me to hear nuances in my music that I have never noticed before. They are also great at muffling background noise enough so that you don't have to crank up the volume to enjoy music.

  • Excerpt: I was looking for a headset for listening in leisure, that is well insulated and that boosts the sound. I already have a AKG to the monitoring that goes very well, making a neutral sound. I searched the whole hand, heats up as a sound passes through an equalizer (in fact it is especially to go with the ipod). I tried a brand of he...

  • Excerpt: Purchased for $ 50 (ie 35 euros) in the United States, and for that price, it does! I use it with my H4 recorder, and that's okay, it's a good little headphones closed. It must be able to troubleshoot the recording, but certainly not for the editing / mixing, as compared with a Beyer DT770, for example, it sounds a little metal!

  • Excerpt: After having done stole my ATH-M40FS (excellent headphone aileurs), love me I am perfectly suited to remain true to the mark but I wanted more practical in mobile use, the price I paid for playing as this model United States for a total of just over € 50, which is reasonable for a headset of this quality (ATH-M40FS top quality cost 80 €). ...
