Summary: I like this headphone because it has nice and professional outlook, and the sound that comes out from it is clear and focus. However, it is kind of heavy to me, I have small head. My neck is tired when I wear it for an hour.
Summary: if your looking for brand and trendy get beats if you looking for quality get these they are much better clearer and can take a beating if you drop them they are very very good overall buy them but them buy them!!
Summary: Before I begin, I must thank the great folks over at Audio Technica for sending me a pair of these headphones for review!Audio Technica is a well-known brand here on Head-Fi, and rightfully so. The ATH-PRO500MK2 are easily one of the best headphones that I've heard at the street value of $100. No doubt about it.Here we go!
Pros: Incredible build, good soundstage, great detail, versatility, portability, isolation, boosted bass, detachable cable
Cons: boosted bass (for those looking for a more balanced sound), clamping force (as expected from a DJ headphone)
Painful and uncomfortable to wear for long periods

Summary: The sound is fine, but I can't wear these earphones for more than an hour at a time because they just kill my ears. The pads are far too small and hard. Either they were made for tiny Japanese ears or they're just badly designed, particularly for glasses wearers. They are very tight, so the fact the foam is so firm means that they just crush your ears against the stems of your glasses. I've tried leaving them on things over the weekend, but it doesn't make a difference.
