Pros: These headphones are some of the best quality that I've experienced. And for the low price that they are, they're a must-have for anyone that wants headphones. I'd 10/10 recommend them to someone looking for nice quality music.
Cons: The only con I have would be the extremely long cable, which is eleven feet.
Conclusion: At first, without an amp, they sounded decent. When plugged into an amp these things are the closest thing to a 300 dollar headphone you can get. I have a pair of GRADO sr 325is and sometimes i perfer these (with an amp) over them. Why? Because of their bass. The sr 325is has very clean bass but sometimes i feel it lacks a correct mid base. The m50s base are perfection... And the sound is oh so warm!
Summary: I wish I had gotten the curled cable instead of the straight cable mainly because the cable is SO long. I think it would be really if there was a cable length option, not like 5 different lengths, but like the current length as well as like a 3' option.
Pros: These are wonderful headphones, and you can't beat the price for what you get. The thing that impressed me most was the obvious attention to the little details, like the ridges on the plug and how when you screw on the adapter there is a slight *click* and the ridges line up perfectly. Or the spring on the end of the connecter to relieve stress. Overall, these are killer headphones, the sound is superb, the build is exceptional, and the fit is perfect.
When you think Audio Technica , you think great quality from Japan

Summary: Disclaimer: I am not an audiophile. Color - White Appearance - I picked White for the swag factor. It has swag. - Silver ring on the outside of the cups and metal "L/R" designators give it a classy look to balance out the plastic Comfort - Extremely soft/plushy ear cups, and sufficient padding on top for long sessions (significant improvement over M50) - Haven't had any humidity issues inside the ear cup (though other users have mentioned this) - Headphones have multiple...
Summary: First, I gotta say that I never review any of the products that I have bought because I am just lazy....However, I felt that I needed to say something when I found thing so amazing!!! Was it worth it for 3x the price of my M30? YES!!! I would not hesitate to spend it over again if I could. In my opinion, these could be sold over $300 and I would still pay for it. I also take in consideration the fact how well I am taking care of.
Summary: Firstly, I pre-ordered these when the original release date was Feb 28 2014, and my tentative delivery was from the 13th - 20th March. HOWEVER, the release date was pushed back to 19th March instead, and it kinda pissed me off that I couldn't get these babies in my hands sooner. BTW, I live exactly 10 000 miles away from where the package originated from, on a completely different continent, and they still managed to get it to me 1 day late.
Summary: By "all-around," I mean that these headphones can be used with high-powered amps or low-powered portable devices. The impedance is 38 ohms, which is great for portable devices, so you don't need to add an external amp and still get enough volume. (I've been using Sennheiser HD-600 headphones for my home theater receiver, and they are spectacular. But their impedance is 300 ohms, so they're unsuitable for portable devices without an outboard amp.
