Summary: Of course these are nice sounding, they have a huge speaker in each cup. If you want to use these at home or in the office as a 2nd set, they work well. However, if you are looking for portability, forget it.

Conclusion: Great set of cans! Flat sound with a little extra bass, good insulation, pretty comfortable to rest on your head for a few hours. The wire, plastic, and pleather earpads are all really durable, and it folds up nicely in the bag it comes with. Pretty much unbeatable for the price.
Conclusion: I have been using these for 6 months. The delivery was on time. Nice sealed box. The headphones are fantastic for house, edm, trance, tehcno music. They have not the crazy bass for r&b and rap songs but these are still better than beats by dr dre headphones and all the other crappy stuff out there.
Conclusion: This product is a solid buy because of the nature of the headphones, they are well built and sound amazing. My problem with them is comfort because after 1 hour or 2 hours they become hard on the ears and uncomfortable because of how heavy they are.
Summary: The newer white M50 sells now for about $160 to $170 USD, and the sound compares well above the $250 range in my opinion. I find a very slight treble peak and/or sibilance on some tracks, a small midrange coloration, and a bass that actually increases slightly below 50 hz to about 30 hz.
Summary: These monitors will blow your mind.I'll say this first off: I don't record, DJ, or do any mixes with this headphone (no prosumer work). These Audio Technica M50's (straight cable) are used purely for listening to my music. One phrase comes to mind about these cans: O MiE GaWd!
Summary: The ATH-M50 headphone is one of the finestI have ever listened to. The sound is simply amazing. My personal response when I first tried them was Wow. Especially after they burn in the Wow factor increases. I was in Headroom's main store in Bozeman Montana when I first tried these.
