Conclusion: Im blown away at the sound quality of these headphones for the price. Unbelievable!! I own a ton of different headphones ranging from basic "included with purchase" headphones to high end audiophile cans and these Audio Technica ATH-M35 sound amaze me every-time I put them on. Now I'm not saying these are the BEST headphones out there, but they could be the best for the price. The sound quality is really even.
Summary: Look solid and well-built, and are comfortable to wear. Sound is fine for my unsophisticated ear, and they seem to be well-isolated (so that people around won't have to enjoy your music with you).
Summary: I looked at numerous headphones before choosing these. I wanted quality but also value for money as headphones seem to be exorbitantly priced these days. I had previously had sennheiser headphones which I would also highly recommend, but I fancied trying something different. These were recommended on a review of headphones that I read so I decided to give them a shot. I use them in the gym when I lift weights so they do need to be able to take a bit of jostling.
Summary: The sound is rich and well balanced, pretty good bass. Out of the box they weren't some of the most comfortable headphones I've tried. A bit too tight and I couldn't have them on for 2h+. However, after almost 1 month of daily use I got used to them, no longer feel my ears squashed to my head and can have them on for long periods of time. Can't get much better than this at this price range.
