Excerpt: I bought these on account of rave reviews from Cnet. Frankly, given the credibility of Cnet, I was surprised by how unimpressive these phones are. They are way too bass heavy. Highs are barely audible and its mid-range is just bland. Readers should know that I listen, primarily, to classical and these phones might work better with pop, but I can only speak from my experience. I also found them to be a little tight, but they are also quite insulating from street noise.
Cons: No matter what I do the left earphone ALWAYS starts to hurt after 30 minutes. The pains is very intolerable, I wish I could return these and spend more on a comfortable pair that has more than decent sound quality.
Excerpt: Was a bit dissappointed after calling to find out if the item was over the ear or on the ear and was told it was over the ear. That is not quite so. It is a bit of both. You would need to have baby ears for the product to fit over the ear.
Excerpt: I was looking for an entry level headphone to see if I liked them. These are good for listening to music, but could use a little more bass ( i like all types of rock). However, playing guitar with these plugged in I was much happier with the performance, they pick up tons of sounds.
Excerpt: i use these for monitoring the audio during video recording, and when video editing. i wanted a closed-back design that wasnt too expensive. these fit the bill and are "ok". the fit is a little tight/snug. but the price was right.
