Head Phones That Work Right

Scrapper, B&H Photo
29 May 2014
  • Excerpt: These Audio-Technica work better than the Bose. We have 3 loud rotory drive chillers in our power plant. We bought the Bose noise cancelling head phones 8 years ago. Now we have the Audio-Technica noise cancelling head phones, and there is a difference. Also the price is a whole lot less than the Bose.
  • Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Good Value, Lightweight, Makes Me Look Good Too

Excellent NC

Jaeger, buydig.com
5 January 2014
  • Summary: I am no audiophile so take this for what it's worth. I was using UE6000s, which are great-sounding but the NC is poor. These destroy the UEs in NC and might sound a little better (wider soundstage). They do not match Bose in NC. The case is large and I'm unsure I would carry-on such large item on a flight just for the NC.

High Quality Headphones

Mike, buydig.com
1 May 2013
  • Summary: I use these headphones at every opportunity I can, which usually means in the office or at home. I listen to indie/alternative rock and EDM, and I think these headphones are versatile enough to provide me with the sound I'm looking for in both genres. The case allows for easy transportation without fear of accidentally scuffing/breaking the headphones. Also don't hold these badboys back--pair them with a headphone amp!
  • Pros: Clean Sound, Comfortable

Superb sound, very comfortable

Event Horizon, Adorama
19 March 2013
  • Excerpt: Very comfortable. They goes over entire ear, so they block large chunk of noise just by that. NC is not intrusive. Compare to headphones from company which "makes better sound through marketing" ATH sounds superbly. If you do not want to sacrifice sound quality for NC, this is perfect choice. Down side - they are quite big. But they come with very nice semi hard case, they work on AAA (which last quite long) and comfy on train or plain.
  • Pros: Comfortable, Great Sound

Pretty Good Headphones and Great Bass

Thomas T, buydig.com
22 January 2013
  • Summary: I haven't had the chance to use it on a flight yet but I have tried it on at home in front of the tv. My first impression on these headphones I would say they are pretty good. It blocked out most of the noise from the tv. The sounds that comes out of these headphones are pretty amazing! I would recommend these over the bose qc-15 just because it has better sounds. As far as noise cancellation, I would probably recommend the bose over these.
