Summary: I saw these at the duty free in the airport and decided to look into them after I got back home. I was initally a bit apprhensive about buying these but I'm glad I took the plunge as they are certainly good and not as flimsy as some people say the are.
Summary: I'm a sporadic airplane traveller that did not want to spend the money on the excellent Bose QuietComfort NC headphones. Instead, these Audio Technica NC headphones are everything I looked for: small (easy to carry on the plane), lightweight, decent NC and fair price.
Summary: Bought these headphones to stop airplane noise headache on trip to Thailand, having borrowed a friend's noise-cancelling set the previous time I went to visit my brother there (which were more expensive but older and less-effective than the audio technica).
Summary: I was a little dubious having read some of the negative reviews for this product, but having used them for several weeks now, I cant think why anybody would grumble about them unless their expectations were absurd. The main reason I bought these were to minimise noise in a busy office.
Summary: They're not the cheapest and nowhere near the most expensive so my expectations were modest. In the event I'm very happy with my purchase. First off I found them comfortable for an entire 10 hour flight.
Summary: Really impressive product. Great sound reproduction and comfortable to wear on a transatlantic flight. Packs up small so good to travel with too. Equally at home listening to music from hi-fi system.
Summary: Good sound quality for closed back headphones and works very well to cancel out the noise of airplane engines so you can escape the cabin and drift off into your own little world. Especially good for people with fear of flying or anxiety disorders.
Summary: I shopped around for a while looking for a decent pair of headphones I could use on a plane. After coming across these and reading other reviews I decided to go for them. I have never tried the "Bose" head phones or any other £200plus pair but all I can say is I paid £70 for these to cancel out the...
