Summary: I bought it because I was curious why so many people (including some studio pros) recommended it and I just could not believe the price.
This are excellent headphones for listening to your computer or ipod.
However, for stereo positioning or freq-dist ithey are completely unusable. I guess we still have to stick to our 702s. It' strongly overemphasiszing above 2.5K, specifcally 3rd and 5th.
I also want to stress that the build quality is way below par.
Summary: I received these headphones a couple of weeks ago and I absolutely love them. Ideal for listeners who are looking for detail retrieval and superior soundstaging. Very comfortable although they are quit loose fitting. On the side note, the delivery courier (interlink express) deemed it appropriate to THROW the package with the headphones into our garden over a locked side gate round the side of the house.
Summary: After a long search for some higher end headphones I settled on these due to the massive amount of reviews saying how good these headphones were for the price. Clarity? Yes. These headphones are great to listen to classical pieces, instrumental jazz, funk and the like. You can hear sonic details you never knew were there. Precision? Mostly. While some may find the bass frequencies lacking a little, they are all there, they just aren't dislodging your ear wax.
Summary: I purchased these headphones back in the summer. I agree with a lot of what the people have had to say about the headphones however. It's not so much that the bass is lacking, but as the top end is so strong and sharp, that the bass isn't there enough. For classical music i can't imagine that there are many better headphones. For dance music they are a big no no. The hi- hats and vocals in dance music are to sharp and the driving bass drums will not be there to be heard.
