Summary: The most important thing you need to know is that this headphone will let you hear the flaws of your music collection if you have low bit rate mp3's as we.. the flaws of your source. if you have onboard audio, then the first thing you should be doing is getting a better source as a better sound card or dac. Before you get the headphones or any good headphones. You do not want Boomy bassor One note bass is Where the bass is the same boom over and over and over.
Pros: These headphones improved alot over the course of using them. At first the bass was there not as much. But now the bass has improved alot which was the first thing I notice as it let you know its there and hit hard too. The headphones bass on these headphones are hard hitting ,while being tight, they are not boomy at all. The headphones works great for Eletronic music including Dubstep,DnB and any other heavy drum and bass music. When you first listen to the headphone...
Summary: Classic case of you get what you pay for. 100% satisfied in all aspects. Decided on audio technica after plenty of positive feedback. Turn up the volume and it absolutely pumps. Crystal clear representation.
Summary: Bought these with some monster inspirations, beats executives, and AKGs. These are best for someone who has an amplifier. If you are just hooking this into your computer using on board sound..dont waste your money. They will sound like cgarbage and break up/crack/distort. If you have an amp or a decent SoundCard. These things will sing beautifully. The voice reproduction is spot on! Sound reproduction is natural WHICH means the bass is not boosted nor the highs!
Pros: Spacious around the ears. Headband is awesome. Allows head to breath Voice reproduction is great the mids on this thing are amazing!
Cons: Bass will kill these... These are not meant for the person who only listens to electronic or rap
Summary: Do not bother with these if you are a computer user without a sound card. You might as well save your money because using your motherboard audio with these amazing gems is like owning a new Lamborghini with all the wheels taken off. These with a good sound card simply gets no better.
Pros: Simply put? These are the best headphones you can buy. I have tried a couple dozen of headphones over the last few years. Nothing comes close. Forget Razer, Beats, Skull Candy, Turtle Beach, and anything else you can think of, look no further. As a gamer, a movie/tv watcher and music listener it gets no better than this.
Cons: Maybe the price but it's a non factor for myself. It's more than worth it considering the money I have wasted over the years on other brands.
Summary: These headphones generally are excellent.
They possess this remarkable mixture of openness and intimacy at the same time.
There’s a true sense of soundstage, with a good width and depth and still they manage to sound pretty direct, upfront and dynamic.
Their tonal balance is well judged, with a (slightly bigger than) slight emphasize on the low mids and mid bass, which gives any music a pleasant body, I particularly like this with classical.
Pros: Big, slight warm, dynamically fluid and textured sound
Summary: but Walmart REALLY should get in the habit of posting valuable specs. not just the cord length and driver diameter, but frequency response (which can take many google pages to find) and max input power, so you don't try jacking the power on your computer with an inferior set of headphones... Anyway, these awesome headphones have a response rating of 5-40,000Hz, and input power of 2 Watts (2,000mW). Compared to the BEST of the 'average', 10-27,000Hz, and 1,000mW.
Summary: The company I work for got these for me. I wouldn't have tried them out myself, due to their high price. I don't think I can go back to my old headphones now, though!
Pros: The sound quality is really good! The music is clear, and the large ear cups keep the noise outside. The braided cable is long and doesn't get tangled. These features combined mean I can keep my audio at a lower volume, and still not hear people talking around me, so I'm doing less damage to my ears.
Cons: The headphones are quite large, and definitely not very mobile. The great sound quality means you can tell when the recording isn't that good. Last, the price is definitely something to keep in mind. The sound quality is better than what you'd get from cheaper headphones, but the quality does not increase linearly with price.
Summary: I owned the original A900 for many years, it was a fantastic pair of headphones. After they was stolen I ordered the A900X from AudioCubes in Japan, slightly nervous because I'd read of problems with the new 3D wing system. The first thing I did when the A900X headphones arrived was try them on, of course, and I was saddened that the widely reported problems with the wing system were true.
