Summary: I like the bass, I really appreciate them in rock songs as well as some hip hop. The quality is good, there is a good amount there as well. I find them very comfortable, I am very picky when it comes to comfort so it is hard to please me. Now the bad, there is not real mids nor highs.
Summary: I would give these headphones a solid 4, even a 4.5, but I got an electric shock from them. I've owned the headphones for a year or so (I guess, I don't really remember -- but it's in that area) but yesterday when I put them on I heard a pop and felt a sting on my ear.
Pros: The sound was at least adequate and generally quite good. I didn't quite feel the bass the way I like, but I'm not sure any headphones can deliver that so relatively speaking they were probably quite good.
Cons: After a year or so of usage in general I can say that they were comfortable enough to wear for a couple hours but eventually I would need to take them off. Also, the cord was quite heavy (as a pro: durable) and I was often fighting to get it to stay where I wanted it.
Summary: I purchased these headphones to replace my aging (and falling apart) Bose Triports. Their primary use is for PC gaming and music listening, and they are powered by an X-fi ExtremeMusic soundcard.
