outstanding sound but muffling in the left channel

Summary: I have bought two pairs of these, one after the other, because of the truly exceptional sound quality, especially the quality of the base. I have not heard better from in-the-ear headphones. There was an issue with connections going in the left channel with the first pair but I think I treated them too harshly (used for gym etc). They are quite heavy and depending the design of your ear, may have a tendency to fall out.
Summary: Atomic Floyd SuperDarts +Remote Headphones I am an audiophile, and listen more or less exclusively to classical music. My main listening system is high end, and my last pair of ear-phones were etymotic i6's. I used these for 6 or 7 years, but alas one of the channels died last month.
Awesome, Robust, new age look with good sound produced

Summary: These headphones look cool, are robust and sound good on most the ranges. That all said I don't feel they are value for money and my £40 pair sound just as good. Getting the ear pieces right will improve your experience so take care with this...
Summary: I use these headphones with my ipod and found them to be very good. They are heavier than most, having steel cups, but this is not problem. Their abilities in terms of noise cancelling are more of a mixed blessing. I found when travelling on a bus that the noise cancelling was excellent, in a noisier environment, ie on the street, they were less effective, but it is a minor quibble. Where they really score is in the sound quality.
Summary: This is a great-sounding set of 'phones, with a couple of minor flaws. The build quality is fantastic - even the box they come in is pretty impressive. The 'phones themselves are very solid and quite weighty - at first worringly so, given they are in-ear, but in fact they stay locked firmly in your lugs and you hardly notice you're wearing them, which is how it should be. And they're shiny enough that you are unlikely to misplace them...
Summary: These are fabulous looking headphones with all the accessories that you would need to go with. They come with different set of ear-pads so you can chose those which fit you the best. Do try every size as one of that will feel right and sound good. They are obviously deep ear canal headphones so you have to push them right in. If you are not used to this, then you will find them uncomfortable to begin with but soon get used to them, hopefully.
Summary: The earphones arrive superbly well packaged, as you would expect from a premium product. I personally would have liked to see some kind of hard plastic clamshell case provided to protect earphones and accessories in transport. What is provided is a flexible, rubberised case which resembles a large black 'Smartie' about the size of the palm of your hand with a slit in one side.
Summary: I've played just about everything through these headphones and my strongest positive comment would be that the sound is noticeably clearer, brighter, with no distortion in and around the high notes and no static in the background. Music with a definitive heavy beat plays well with a noticeably smooth percussion, you can hear the instruments rather than just a mechanical "thump, thump, thump".
