Excerpt: There are plenty of great headphone companies out there hoping you’ll choose their ear buds when you finally develop the will power to give those old Gameboy headphones a merciful death. Many however aren’t phone friendly due to the lack of an integrated mic. Atomic Floyd’s MiniDarts Heaphones ($240) certainly aren’t cheap, but for the money, you will get excellent sound quality and plenty of style — making them a worthwhile investment for your smartphone.
Excerpt: The Atomic Floyd MiniDarts are the latest piece of ear-candy for the avid music listener. These in-ear headphones will look like someone shot a bullet...
Pros: Solid construction. Very stylish and will appeal to both men and women. Comfortable to wear and will stay put in your ears. Excels at high-end output. Mic works excellently on calls. Remote offers music controls plus call answer/end.
Cons: Bass reproduction is not that impressive. Included case only holds extra silicone tips not headphones. No volume controls. Pricey.
Excerpt: You, like me, probably hadn’t heard of Atomic Floyd before this review. Turns out their another relatively new entrant into the high-end earphone category, and we were recently sent a pair of their new ‘MiniDarts’ earphones before they are available for purchase later today. Read our review after the break! The unboxing experience itself is a nice simple one, which unfortunately isn’t the case with all consumer electronics these days.
