Summary: If you are looking for good sounding headphones, but don't want to spend a ton of money, these are the headphones for you. If you are looking for noise cancelling headphones I am willing to go as far as to say these are the ONLY headphones for you. Yes, Bose does have better noise cancellation, but Bose headphones retail for at least 350 dollars. These sound great. Have very good noise cancellation chip (I work in an office setting and these work great).
Pros: -solid construction, -very comfortable and light, -swivel ear cups, -excellent set of accessories, -very good sound (for the money), -extremely under priced
Cons: -cord could be a little better (tangle free)
Summary: This is a very nice set of NC headphones, and if the battery life does live up to the advertized 100hours then I'll have no complaints. Comes in very attractive packaging. Well done ASUS.
Pros: -Very nice packaging, -Battery included, -Airline adapter included, -Very good noise cancelling circuit, -Out performs my Phillips NC Headphones., -Carry case is very nice and slim not to take up lots of space in your luggage, -Good price point, -Very good sound
Cons: -Feel slightly flimsy in the hand (but not when on the head), -Mute button doesn't seem to work, I'm sure it's just user error at this point., -Would be an even better deal at a few $$ cheaper
Summary: I wanted some noise cancelling headphones, but was not prepared to part with the cash for some Bose. I know that they are a great product and have brilliant sound quality, but for the number of times I use them it was not cost effective. Then I found these on Amazon and what a bargain they are. The sound quality is great and they certainly perform well.
Summary: Tried these during a flight from Helsinki to London and back. One AAA battery lasted easily this trip. Noise cancelling was reasonable and improved listening / movie watching experience vastly alhough at this price range You cannot expect Bose-like cancelling.
Summary: I sold this within a month of buying it as the noise cancellation is below average at best. Buy the sennhesiser if you have a fixed budget but the Bose I ended up with are the best. I even sleep with them on.
Summary: I have just come back from a round trip to India and used these in flight. The noise cancelling really does make a difference. I would however make two points: First the quality of the sound is not particularly special. If you want really good quality with great definition look elsewhere. I found them fine for inflight movies. Second, there is a necessary compromise in the size of the earpieces.
Summary: I haven't used them, but the recipient of this gift has told me that they made him feel as if he was watching TV at home during his long flight from the UK to China! He got to sleep for three hours for the first time on this flight too!
Summary: I bought Asus NC1 and found them to be of very poor quality. The product I received was faulty - The left side was not working properly. I also found that when you turn on noise cancellation it produces a hissing noise which was not expected from a noise cancelling product. Since I had a faulty earpiece I can't rule out that the product had more than one fault. The headphones comes with a very good case, though.
