Pros: - Pretty good sound quality - Good wireless range
Cons: - Short charge cable - Battery life is not as advertised - Battery randomly shorts out when it has just been charged - Sometimes develops high pitched buzzing for no reason (i moved the dongle to another device and it persisted) that won't clear for several minutes - Badly molded plastic. The pla...
Summary: After navigating the disaster that is ASUS support and returning it per their instructions, it was returned as unrepairable, but under warranty. Unacceptable. Will not buy from again.
Pros: Works sometimes, doesn't require a driver in XP or Win7
Cons: Super short charging cord. Wireless range is substandard and very affected by any type of interference. Had to RMA two sets, first one, the USB transmitter died, second one the swivel (a known design flaw) broke.
Summary: Its okay if you want a headset that breaks in about three months. I did treat it carefully too, I took it off with both hands to reduce stress on the joints but just wearing it broke one of the joints.
Pros: -Wireless -lightweight -range through out my house -Comfortable
Cons: -Bad design (ear pieces to head band connection was weak and broke after 3 months of use. -ASUS support is a joke. Called them up and told them the ear piece broke off. They said to send it in and they would fix it. Got an email back saying they don't cover physical damage and they would send it ...
Summary: -It's really a shame, because I bought these for 25$ and it was a great deal for a wireless headset. I was really happy with them until they broke. I just don't see them working out for a long period of time.
Pros: -Decent Range -Can listen and charge at the same time (though the cable is like 2 feet) -Quick charge
Cons: -Headset snapped after 1 month. I tried gluing it back together but it just wouldn't hold. There are several places on the headset where the plastic is just too thin and cheap. -Short charging cable -Ear pieces are rough and uncomfortable after long periods of use
Summary: I run through wired headsets faster than anyone should. A problem with running over and twisting the wire when I am wearing it causes the wires inside to break. This would be the perfect answer to that problem if the headset worked consistently.
Pros: Wireless, Long range, great sound quality. Need I say more?
Cons: Worked for about 3 weeks before the headset stopped holding a charge, maybe because it was left charging too long. But between that and the absurdly small mini-USB charge cord, I was left using wired headsets again. Connection problems ensued when the headset stopped holding a charge.
Summary: I am having problems with these. I have the Realtek on-board sound and I was hoping these would work in conjunction. They do not. While I have them turned on, I can "test" them and hear fine but if I turn on a movie, I get no sound.
Pros: Small, Light, buttons on headphones switch you to Skype, set volume, wireless (of course), cheap (rebate briefly).
Cons: Tight if you have a fat head (like me) and uncomfortable for long wearing. Feel like they are going to break. Drivers installed by Win 7 aren't that great and Asus doesn't have any on their site. Worthless instruction manual.
Summary: Poor design, don't buy it. Did not bother to warranty, just went to garbage.
Pros: Pretty good sound quality, works fine on linux
Cons: Plastic broken as usual. Does not keep charge. Even worse, leave it there charging and it seems after full charge turns it off and starts to loose charge, so you need to unplug and plug it again to re-enable charging. So if you leave it there for a day or more connected to charger you getting it ...
Summary: If you're looking for a wireless head set to use for skype once in a while for short periods, these are not bad. The mic is very good. But, If you're looking for a gaming headset look elsewhere.
Pros: Inexpensive, wireless and decent sound with a good mic. Light and they fold nicely.
Cons: Plastic is very cheap and the mounts that hold the speaker cups break. Battery life starts out very good over 6hrs then trickles down to about 2.5-3hrs after 3 or 4 months. Pluging them in sometimes caused the usb drivers to stop working. The cord is way to short for them to be used while chargin...
Summary: Would be really cool to have a nice wireless headset. This isn't it. Cord/no auto-off/sound quality kill it for me.
Cons: - Charge lasts closer to 3-4 hours after a few month's use. - The charging cord is like 2 feet long. I had to purchase a USB extension cord for this headset. - Doesn't auto turn off so most of the time I use it, it is plugged in with an USB extension cord. Even worse than a normal wired headset -...
Summary: Shame on ASUS!!....very cheap product, One of the reasons i bought this was it was an ASUS..going to make me think twice about an ASUS product next time.
Pros: Good while they lasted, decent range lightweight and good sound quality.
Cons: They broke at the ear peice mount point. It was not abused and handled by an adult. It is of poor design and cheap. Newegg has been out for awile now and i think for good reason. NO ASUS warranty !!!! beware. These broke just after neweggs return policy of 30 days
