Astro A50 Wireless Gaming Headset

Total Xbox
18 October 2012
  • Excerpt: Astro Gaming makes some of the best Dolby surround-sound headphones on the market — but unlike other big names in the field, it doesn’t produce new cans often. The A40 headset ( OXM score: 9.0) came out in 2008; their slightly cheaper offering, the A30 ( OXM score: 8.5), hit shelves in 2010.
  • Pros: + Finally! An Astro headset that’s almost completely free of cords!, + Warm, buttery audio; clear Xbox Live chat; very good battery life.
  • Cons: ? So, who’s betting on 2016 for an Astro A60 headset?
