Summary: To start I want to say I love these headphones. With that said here is the truth... there are no perfect headphones out there. These have a few problems of their own but have the least amount of any other brand. These headphones are not 7.1 surround sound. They are simulated. What does this mean? The speaker angles the sound at your ear tricking it into thinking its surround sound. Why does this matter? Because tru 7.1 is noticibly better like logitech g35s.
Great Sound, Works with Macbook/Skype, Amazing Mix Amp , Below Average Mic Quality.

Summary: Excellent Product. The Good - Great sound quality. - Mixamp works like a dream. - Works with my Xbox One and Macbook Pro. - Makes me feel like a pro. The Bad - Astro is infamous for their poor mic quality.
Summary: I absolutely love this headset, it feels great and the mix amp works very well! Only complaint for me is it feels like my ears get itchy and kinda hot after excessive use (3-5 hours) overall, you will hear your enemy and everything else going on. The headset is very stylish and can get VERY loud! I personally like to play my games on the "Media" setting. It's a little kicky with the bass but it's great also for movies and music on that setting!
I'll always recommend the A40 over the A50 unless you really NEED ...

Summary: Disclaimer: I am not writing this review from the perspective of an audiophile. The nicest pair of headphones I own is an Audio Technica ATH-M30. If your biggest concern is that this is a refurbished set, you probably don't need to worry. Mine have worked almost flawlessly since they came in. I knocked off 1 star because occasionally one ear cup (left) will cut out. It seems to be an issue with the audio connector that fixes itself if I unplug it and firmly re-plug it.
Summary: Make this review is not easy i already use this Gaming headset 6 months and yes is very comfortable, have a great sound actually better than the beats. Before a buy this headset i compare it with the turtle beach and i decide buy the astro headsete but both are good headset. But when you are buying a premium product you hope something better.
Summary: I used the turtle beach x42 for a year now and it was my first virtual surround sound gaming headset and MAN i had an amazing experience with them for my xbox 360 and xbox one. I always been curious why astro gaming headsets are one of the best gaming headset in the market, so i bought the astro a40 at gamestop for about $218.00 after tax because it was on sale.

Summary: I'm giving this 4 stars because the audio is pretty amazing. The microphone on the other is pretty bad. I've been told by my fellow gamers that my voice is staticy. It's a little frustrating to get the levels right for in game voice communication. Mind you, this is after the firmware update. You also cannot hear your voice through the headset regardless of how you mix it. This is something that is strange to me.
Comfort 8/10 These are very comfortable. They grip the head nicely

Summary: Overall, these headphones are fairly priced. They serve their purpose well. However, they don't really standout for the price, so take that into consideration. Comfort 8/10 These are very comfortable. They grip the head nicely, however sometimes when I wear my glasses and these at once, I need to readjust a bit. After that, they are fine.
Summary: I bought this intending to use it with the mixamp I had from a previous pair of Astros. It works fine but the inline mute cable it comes with is about 30" long. This is very annoying as I have to sit impossibly close to my mixamp to make this set up work. Otherwise I'll have to pay an additional 20$ to buy a 2 meter mute cable.
