Comfy, good sound quality, but expensive and noise bleeds out easily.

Summary: Comfortable and nice sound quality. Friends said the mic sounded like I was "in a huge room" and "tinny." They are really nice, but I ended up going with because the sound isolation is much better. The Astro A40's are a little "open" so people around you can hear the sound from your headphones.
Summary: So I've owned everything from multi-driver Turtle Beach HPX (with decoder box), to Siberia v2 and even the AKG 701. In my opinion the A40 falls somewhere between TB and SS for both comfortability and audio quality. As far as microphones go, the A40 is the best of the bunch.
Summary: Good sound and mic quality, but the mute feature barely works. The mute muffles it instead of just blocking transmission. Any noises that are louder than your voice WILL be heard if you're in a Skype call or something.
Summary: Headphones are very sub par for what I would expect from Astro. I much prefer my previous Logitech G930s... I went with wired because I thought I didn't want wireless (g930 operates on 2.4ghz and would get a lot of interference). For the price my Astro headset is VERY underwhelming...
Good, but worth the almost 300 bucks?? I dont know...

Summary: You need to have the AMP if you want great sound quality, You can use it with out the AMP but your experience is going to be not very good. The next thing I find is that my ears are sensitive to heat and after about 20 minutes of playing the cushion feels like it's going to burn my ears off.

Summary: i bought these because i dont really care about money and i just like to randomly buy things. these arent very comfortable for long hours of gaming or listening to music. would not recommend if you like light weight and comfortable headsets.
Summary: I have had a couple issues with this headphone. 1) The microphone gives off a static noise to anybody that you're talking to with that microphone 2) During skype calls or any communication programs, my friends seem to be able to hear exactly what I'm doing on my computer even though my speakers are...
