Not pleased!

momoftwins, Amazon
11 March 2015
  • Summary: Bought this as a Christmas present and it has been barely used. The connection isn't always clear and tends to cut in and out. We purchased the connector for the Xbox One controller but it rarely works with it. Not pleased!

Sound quality is bad! get these with the mix amp!

James, Amazon
25 February 2015
  • Summary: First thing that I have to say is that all these reviews are by people who bough the headphones with the mix amp. I bought the a40's without the mix amp, and I sent it back after 5 minutes of listing to it, mainly is because the headphones distort if you don't have the mix amp, there is no bass what...

While I absolutely love this headset when its working

Ryan Hartsell, Amazon
19 November 2014
  • Summary: While I absolutely love this headset when its working, it tends to give me troubles... a lot. Apparently, this is a common problem with the model. People in my clan asked if I was using A40's.. and I was like "how'd you know?!".

Repackaged - not refurbished!

Jeffery S. Blackmon, Amazon
22 October 2014
  • Summary: This item was repackaged, not refurbished in any way. I had some obvious signs of heavy use and some cables were tied with rubber bands rather than the factory twist ties. I have no confidence that the product was quality tested or evaluated in any way by the manufacturer.

Ari, Amazon
9 September 2014
  • Summary: Now this is my personal opinion, but i didnt like the headset at all. The mixamp is great, i bought one separate already but the actual headset was to uncomfortable for me. I didnt like the cloth earpads (made my ears sweaty), the headset was heavy (gave me a headache every time i wore it for more...

I don't get it.

Bryan, Amazon
27 July 2014
  • Summary: owned these for about 2 weeks and I just dont get it. I've had several pairs of gaming headphones from razer, Logitech, Plantronics and others. I've received more complaints about my voice quality using these than any other pair. Most of which cost less than half as much as these.

Headphone arrived Greasy , The wire Between the Mixamp and the headphone is inconsistent

Rayner Wong, Amazon
11 June 2014
  • Summary: The dials and knobs for the mixamp is very greasy to the touch probably because astro applied too much lubricant . The cable between the Mix-amp to the headphone is inconsistent , sometimes when you move your head around one side would mute off.

Saved but wasted time

Antonio Morales, Amazon
8 June 2014
  • Summary: I give this a two star because I love how everything was packaged and how it looked brand new. The Headset is comfortable but sadly the mix amp game volume doesn't work and the headset mic doesn't work either so now I have to return my astro and buy new ones in the store so I can get ones that are...
