Summary: The Arctic Sound P311 headphones have great sound and the only thing missing is some padding over the ears. If you can stand the unpadded earpieces you will like the sound the Arctic Sound P311 headphones produce.
Conclusion: In conclusion, I would say the Arcitc Sound P311 is a great choice if you plan to use it mainly for music and movies. However, if you are looking to replace them with your regular Bluetooth headset, and are finickky about call quality, they may not offer the best performance. For the less finicky among us, the P311 is a decent all-round choice at $38.
Summary: Thank you Arctic Cooling for sending us the ARCTIC Sound P311s to play with. This was another rough review, spending time talking on the phone, listening to music and movies, and doing something I hate but have to do anyways, run. There were only two things I would really worry about; one would be the material around the earpieces. When running I tend to sweat and I don’t want the headphones to start stinking.
Conclusion: Final words. All-in-all, the Arctic Sound P311 Stereo Bluetooth Headset is a pretty decent headset for the price. It produces good sound with loud enough volume, decent bass and crisp highs. It's affordable and does what it says on the box.
Excerpt: Who often use portable players or mobile phones to listen to music or watching movies during the trip, knows the limits of the wired earphones and also knows that it is difficult to find a good pair, wireless, at an affordable price. What's more, stereo headphones, although wireless, often have some wires anyway. These problems are added the needs of those most sensitive ears and do not bear them, who would prefer a pair of headphones, maybe read, with a long range.
Conclusion: Arctic Sound P311 offers good sound quality, terrific battery life, some nice bonus features and a stylish design that is comfortable enough for extended use. For 31.95 € / US$ 37.95 the Arctic Sound P311 Bluetooth Headset is a must buy for people who love music and love the ease of wireless technology.
Excerpt: Bluetooth is really starting to see resurgence now thanks in no small part to support from heavy hitters like Apple and Creative Labs with their latest products. But there also needs to be (and is) a good amount of third party support from companies like Arctic Sound to make this comeback totally successful. Performance with music was really of a very respectable level, with good low end and a decent feeling of overall depth to the mix.
Summary: Testing the headset was rather interesting to get used to as I’ve never used a bluetooth headset before. Connectivity was easy to follow through - simply hold for 3 sec for it to turn on then for 7 sec until the LED indicator flashes red and blue. You can now start syncing your device by following through with the directions and or simply finding the Bluetooth settings on your phone.
Pros: Light-weight, Good stereo audio quality, Ear-pieces are nicely padded., Simple to connect and pair, Very portable
Cons: Call Quality is not great, Takes a while to charge, Mic volume is low, Behind-the-head design isn’t as comfortable as I’d like
