Summary: After replacing my iPhone 3GS with an android phone I continued to use the 3GS headphones with my Droid and it worked perfectly. I could answer calls using the mic button. I lost this pair of headphones and decided to replace them with another pair. Turns out Apple put a fix on the newest version of the headphones so that they don't work with non-Apple products. I had to purchase another set of headphones to use with my droid phone.
Summary: The Apple earphone w/ mic is a cool idea the company thought of but for the price I expect better sound quality. I work in Manhattan as of course I travel everyday in congested trains in the morning which unfortunately the earphones does not close off noise from the environment and it tends to fall off a bit too often. In plain language omitting all of the technical terms of how avg.
Pros: Lightweight, Stylish
Cons: Avg Sound Quality, Falls Off/Out Of Ear, Too Much Ambient Noise, Uncomfortable
Summary: Received them in time. Package ok. But I used to listen to music every day with Apple earphones without mic and those doesn't sound as great as real original ones. You will notice the wires coating, not "jelly like" Silicon coated as the original. Flexibility of the wire is not as great ... Deceived.
Summary: Not the original apple headphones, but it was expected. It really looks like the original with a few minor changes. Quality is okay, but I didnt expect it to be like the original (it is cheap so no complaints). My problem is that i need to increase the volume so much higher than i should just to hear music. I have had numerous headsets, some cheap, others have a bit more premium, and i guess i would rate this a 4 for the quality it has for its price.
