Summary: After replacing my iPhone 3GS with an android phone I continued to use the 3GS headphones with my Droid and it worked perfectly. I could answer calls using the mic button. I lost this pair of headphones and decided to replace them with another pair. Turns out Apple put a fix on the newest version of the headphones so that they don't work with non-Apple products. I had to purchase another set of headphones to use with my droid phone.
Summary: Headphones work well had mine for about 4 months till they wore out from going in and out of my pockets they still work but the right earbud no longer has any sound worked perfectly for my ipod touch to use skype or yahoo talk.
Summary: While Apple makes great products, this is not one of them. I have an iPhone and use it daily to listen to music and talk on the phone. I am constantly on the move and having my hands free to talk is needed. After having the headset for a few months the speaker stopped working and ppl would not be able to hear me while talking on the phone. I replaced the headphones and again the same thing.
Summary: I prefer these earphones because of the volume control. Most earphones have no volume control. These do, so helpful when talking w/background noise or listening to music. This is a replacement of the first set I had got with my phone.
Summary: This product was included with the ipod shuffle. Within weeks of having it, the volume control and the buttons to skip, repeat, etc. had completely stopped working. Meaning, not only could I not use my ipod, but I had no choice but to purchase another headset (which is a 1/3 of the price of the ipod itself). They are very uncomfortable, and not good for working out, they slip out of your ears very easily.
Summary: So far it's been holding up nicely. I've had it for 2 months and it still looks brand new. It works as expected and i love the sleek volume controls.(and the pause button) However here is a warning to all those audiophiles: Don't buy this if you expect High Quality audio! These headphones are for an on-the-go person who simply needs a nice, sleek pair of headphones that work well. These will not satisfy audiophiles, only the casual ipod user...
Summary: The only thing I would say is that I need to buy the little rubber or foamy pieces that go on the ear buds because they don't stay in my ears very easily. But overall, good product. I like being able to control the volume from the little thing on the head set wire instead of having to use the wheel on the iPod.
Summary: I have 2 sets of these earphones, and both are equally great. I use them a few times per week and do not have any static or volume problems. I have tried several sets of other brands, and they don't compare sound wise or comfort wise. A great set of earphones!
