Summary: This is an expensive item that is merely an adopter. I've purchased many for use on home radios, i-home chargers, and numerous clock radios that my 4-person family owned prior to going from iPhone 4s to iPhone 5 and 5s. This is an "ADAPTER"!!! It should cost a few dollars. I needed many and these are $30+ each depending on when I've purchased them. They are big, expensive, and stop working on their own. We don't abuse them and can't possibly be wearing them out.
Pros: Great Till It Stops
Cons: Stops Working Too Soon, Too Expensive, Very Expensive, Wears Out In A Month
Summary: It baffles me that a company with so much panache and flair can't figure out the headset design...again.... WHY OH WHY!! are they made with slippery plastic material...I can't think of ANY headset/earbud out there that's made with slick plastic, that has no other option but to slip out of your ear, with the slightest tug...and does.....!
Summary: These came with my iPhone 5. I've never liked the EarPods Apple produces and thought these might be better. They are still as uncomfortable as the older version and on top of that the sound quality is very poor. Sometimes music comes in clear and I can deal with how uncomfortable they are and big for my ears, but the quality is poor so often it is not worth it. The sound is scratchy and hollow at times.
Excerpt: Although Apple is the leader in mp3 music players, they obviously spent no time developing quality headphones for their products. I have tried many of their product designs in sound technology and NONE of them hold a candle to BOSE, Sennheiser, Klipsch and Beats. White is boring. Try a few more colors Apple.
Summary: I have had my iphone for 17 months and in that time have had my earpods replaced 3 times - luckily for free under warranty. Every single time they have broken so I no longer hear music or sound out of the right hand ear. As I'm now out of warranty I'm going to have to buy something else. Very annoying.
Summary: I ended up buying overall 5 pairs of these last year because they kept breaking, they are actually very good but do break easily if you don't care for them correctly. One pair only lasted me around 2 months sometimes not even that.
Summary: Having been a loyal Apple user for many years I was excited to use the new headphones being introduced. However they are awful, really not made for people with apparently small ears? (Never had an issue before). After wearing them for 5 minutes or 50 the pain is unbearable, really aching after use. Very disappointed compared to the previous design.
