Decent, when it works

Jack H., Newegg
8 May 2014
  • Summary: The connection issue is the biggest problem. Hard to enjoy the products when it's a garbled digitized mess. Seems to happen more when it's colder too. I noticed it happened more when I was using my snowblower than when working on the lawn.
  • Pros: Price is excellent for a bluetooth, active noise-cancelling set of stereo earbuds. They are relatively light weight and have a built-in clip for keeping it within easy hand access.
  • Cons: As someone else mentioned, there is no way to view the battery level. So I just get into the habit of charging before a long trip to be sure. On my most recent trip (probably less than 10 hours total), the device died on the last hour.

GREAT Bluetooth Headset

Albert M., Newegg
1 May 2013
  • Summary: I was hesitant to spring for this headset based on some of the past reviews, but I'm happy I did. I have had one instance of the headset losing its connection and having to pair it again with my iPhone 5 in about 6 weeks of ownership. That's not to say it doesn't drop a second or two of music once in a long while, but every bluetooth headset I've owned does that. Putting the phone on the same side of your body as the receiver goes a long way toward fixing this issue.
  • Pros: Surprisingly good noise cancellation. Wide dynamic range, great sound. Good performance on voice calls even in noisy environments. Quality construction.
  • Cons: Inability to check the battery charge level.

  • Summary: Pairing with I-Pod Touch was easy. Sound is good but cuts out, very annoying when trying to work. Noise isolating does not work well. Comfortable to wear but...... Trying them paired with lap top, so far OK....we wll see.

Great sound, flakey connection

Aaron H., Newegg
1 January 2013
  • Summary: I'm listening to music on an iPhone 4S with 256kbps audio. I'm going to try 128kbps tracks and see if it makes a difference. If it does I'll edit this review and let you know.
  • Pros: I love the sound and the comfort level of these earbuds. Decent bass response for in-ear headsets and crystal clear sound...when it works.
  • Cons: The connection is very intermittent. I go for a 45 min. walk each day and at least twice in that time the connection stops and I have to hit the stop/start button twice to get the audio back. It will also cut in and out as if the signal is being interfered with. I bought these so I didn't have to run a direct connection to my phone but the Bluetooth transmitting has been a real disappointment.
