Gimp review

Ryan D., Newegg
22 February 2015
  • Pros: I'm quadriplegic with decent arm function and I used this with Dragon NaturallySpeaking voice-recognition software to do my typing. It works excellent. The microphone has a foam cover over it that's thick enough to absorb little breaths so Dragon isn't picking up every little tiny noise you make....
  • Cons: The cable will get damaged somehow but I use it over 40 hours a week

  • Summary: Worst sound level of any headset I've ever had. This was just a waste of money.

  • Summary: I purchased this Headset, to replace the one I accidently damaged. I use it mainly for making phone calls and recording audio for videos. It has a great microphone and the single earphone lets me hear what's going on around me. It's also comfortable to wear.

Terrific headset, very accurate

Martin T., Newegg
16 January 2013
  • Summary: I have told others about this headset and recommended it to my co-workers. A number of us do computer dictation for psycho-educational reports with a number of medical and technical terms and this just cuts down errors and thus cuts down the time in dictation, which is precious.
  • Pros: Terrific headset. I just ordered it from Newegg but have been using one now for almost two months at work and now ordered one for home use. I use it with Dragon 11.5. I have found it works much much better than the standard headset I had been using. My errors in dictation, which were not that bad...
  • Cons: The only one is that it is one-sided, i.e., you do not get a stereo headset, and at first it feels a bit uncomfortable. But I use it to work, and the absence of stereo headphones is minor, certainly not even close to an egg. Now it feels just fine on my head.

3 April 2012
  • Excerpt: I have used dictation programs for over 10 yrs. The noise cancellation and word recognition hardware built into USB plug module makes a world of difference. Noticeably fewer errors with the Andrea NC USB headsets.
  • Pros: Easy To Set Up, Easy To Use, Error-free dictation, Fast
