Excerpt: I really enjoy listening to these but I've only been using them for a week and the right ear cup is squeaking everytime I turn it. There are also noticeable creases in the leather strap. My advice would be to spend a little more and get the pulse. They aren't showing the same amount of wear and tear as the Iron.
Summary: Hate to say it but ... maybe I expected more. First - actual sound quality. Needless to say it is loaded on the low end. Most of the music needs to be EQ'ed for strong treble. It's possible to get good sound, but not out of the box. I found myself tweaking everything, my phone, my PC, my stereo. They all needed to be adjusted to get good balanced sound. But it is possible. Second - Build quality.
Summary: Almost non existent noise cancellation, terrible sound leakage. Its like having mini speakers tucked away beside your laptop. Returned these, asked for postage to be paid, was declined by the buyer.
Summary: The design of these phones is cheap and tawdry. For example the flimsy plastic on/off switch was glued on with golden-gum and fell off within 48 hours. You are supplied with 2 cables, 1 with an in-line mic and 1 straight through for "hi-fi" use. This replaceable cable feature is just a gimmick - I lost the mic-cable, contacted HoM support to buy a replacement and got pointed at an eBay site listing hundreds of cables but *not* the one I needed.
