The Jawbone2 BT Headset is truly the epitome of class and style when it comes to BT headsets, it not only looks great, but it’s comfortable and works well. The NoiseAssassin feature really does work at blocking out all external sounds, you can easily drive with the windows down and talk with no interference at all. Read more

    • Very comfortable, Well made, Easy to use, Crystal clear sound, Excellent battery life, Lightweight, Wind doesn’t effect it
    • Doesn’t play sounds or music from phone, Expensive

The Jawbone line of headsets have always been known for their excellent ability to cancel out background noise, the the Jawbone Prime is no exception. However, it is my thoughts that there is not a big enough difference between the Jawbone Prime and Jawbone II to warrant an upgrade if you already have a Jawbone II. However, if you are in the market for a new headset, the Jawbone Prime is definitely worth a look. Read more

    • Several different earbuds and earhooks included, Available in a variety of different colors, Slightly better than the Jawbone II
    • Uses proprietary charging cable, No dedicated volume button, Hidden buttons easy to accidently push

About a year or so ago I was able to review the original Aliph Jawbone Headset. At that time, I said "This is the best Bluetooth Headset I have ever used." The only other headset that even came close was the BlueAnt z9 - but the Jawbone was the winner - for lots of reasons. Read more

Overall, Jawbone Prime may not be up to its predecessor’s levels of outgoing call performance for wind, but it is one of the best noise-cancelling headsets on the market. We’d pick the 2008 model over Prime without any question—it’s less expensive these days, sounds better for callers, and apart from the new version’s color selection, looks better to our eyes. Other Jawbones I have purchased have been much better. I found this model difficult to get a good fit so that it will stay on my ear. Additionally, people I have spoken to have complained that they have had difficulty clearly hearing me. Read more

I was pleased at first with this device. However, over time, it turned out to be not-so-good, sometimes people do not hear me, wind blocking just non-existent, and on top of this, when carrying inside your pocket, the device is very prone to accidental turn-off because the Answer button is too big (actually all device surface is the button) They should fix the latter issue by reassigning turnoff feature to NoiseAssasin button which is smaller and harder to press... • Looks great, fits ok, cancels some background noise (although not as advertized)
    • mic hole is on the top (NO wind blocking at all), proprietary charge connector, brittle ear shackle, tend to turn off accidentally because of button construction

This was the first bluetooth earpiece I forked out $100+ for so I was expecting a lot. The sound quality was great, but the action of my jaw moving while I spoke kept pushing the earpiece out of my ear. The constant readjustment required to keep the earpiece in place also meant I was often inadvertently turning it off in the middle of calls. Read more

  4. Very happy! Only regret = not having bought this one to begin with.
