Summary: these are ok, i just bought them. They have the same dynamic musical presence as their on-ear, the Q-460. Construction is all plastic, but the cable seems flimsy. same as the Q-460s. I guess these are the compromises concerning the lower lines of the q-series.
Pros: same dynamic, super speedy sound as their Q460s...

Summary: Having two AKGs already (ref class and QJ line) when I was after in-ear buds for light weight use I looked here first. I'm glad that I did. Firstly it has the usual iPhone controls, so works great when a call comes in. Secondly, the sound from these is different to the ones you get from the excellent default iPhone 5S+ units. The biggest factor is the comfort of the buds, you get different rubber buds to use and its easy to get a fit that works.
Summary: I've worked my way through a lot of in ear headphones over the years and these are by far the best. The sound is brilliant and crisp. The base is great and they feel very sturdy but light, the only issue I have is the cord length, maybe 6 inches longer would be nice. all in all a great set and would highly recommend them!
Summary: Incredibly clear sound for such a cheap and inconspicous pair of headphones. Make sure you use the biggest buds you can get in your ears (tight fit). Not only will you leak less noise, but you'll find the bass response improves enormously compared to loose fit (rubber bits too small). They come with a selection of tips. Ive upgraded to Comply Foam Tips and they now fit and sound even better.
