Summary: These are ordinary performers, i had them and although they sound reasonably good on their own, that only applies when you have nothing better to compare them to. If you know what your looking for there are better headphones out there which are also cheaper and sound much better, like the Sennheiser 202's or 205's, both excellent sounding headphones, the 205's are the same price around $100 and the 202's are nearly half that, but the 202's are my favourite.
Summary: These headphones are excellent. They are light & comfortable on my head, even for extended sessions. The sound is sort of laid back & very clear(very, very clear),with nothing emphasised.Like a good pair of speakers ,they sound realy good without any bass or treble added.I've used them on my home stereo, mp3 player ,and computer and they are fantastic phones!
Summary: I bought headphones to take a 14 hour plane ride back to home. I used panasonic noise cancelling before and thought this may be a good step up. Out of the box, I wasn't very impressed but once on my ear! Wow! definitely great soundstage reproduction. I can hear every single little instrument without distortion. Previous headphones I had would distort at loud volumes or with bassy music.

Summary: An exceptional product with optimum price. Great sound quality and ease to wear. I've been using the product as part of my practice rig and makes practice an enjoyable experience with crisp, well balanced sound. It is very comfortable, they dont squeeze too tight or feel too heavy.
