Summary: Physical sturdiness: I've had a good succession of mid-range headphones, these feel like they'll last me a while, unlike others. The cable is well fixed and protected (though it *could* be better) and they've got a nice metal strip with the AKG logo emblazoned on the headband.
Summary: Bought these as my second pair of headphones. My first is the Sony MDR-V6 and they are amazing but i wish they had more bass. The K518 packs a lot more bass than the V6's but it doesn't overpower everything else like the Beats by Dr Dre.
Summary: Sometimes it seems that it overdoes the low frequencies a bit almost just to cover the fact that the remaining frequencies are not of such a perfect quality. But hey, one of the main reasons I chose this is because my last headphones (or most headphones) barely had any bass, so cant complain much I...
Summary: These headphones have got good build quality and excellent sound. The bass is very strong. They are foldable so they won't take up much space, so they are comfortable for outside using and carrying in the pouch.
Summary: These head phones were a Christmas present for my son. He chose them because of the bass effect was recommended by friend as really good. My son was very please with this product when connected to his IPOD or his laptop. I had bought a pair of headphones myself, but a different make.
Summary: I think these headphones are very good, they give very good value for money, amazing sound quality (even on low volume) ,very clear sound. I did not regret the moment when I bought them. Just Great!
Pros: 1) Smart use in surround sound 2) good value for price 3) comfortable 4) Pretty good sealing of environmental noise
Cons: 1) In some rare cases the volume is not high enough 2) The cable is not long enough
Excerpt: I use it for about two months, compared to other headsets I have used I find that the sound is very decent, with good bass response. The sound isolation is very good, once the headphones on, the sound no longer goes outside (ideal for the preview!).
