Great headphones, if you get around the cable issue.

Summary: Overall this is a great product. It's made for using on the go and that's how I've been treating this headphone. I've been using them for a few months now, bringing it with me through long hours on the plane. I love that these don't hurt your ears, I can wear them for hours and hours. However, the downside to the AKG K450 is the cable. The ones that come with it feels relatively cheap. I can see from most bad reviews is regarding this issue.
Summary: These headphones are nicely made, comfortable to wear and foldable. For me they are bass-heavy and slightly lacking treble and mid-range but they are well liked by the person they were a present for. Unfortunately the cable broke after six months use, a common occurrence when phones like these are used outdoors, but AKG replaced it without fuss.
Summary: I love these AKG headphones. I initially bought them to wear on public transport to plug into my Nokia smart phone to block out people having loud conversations on their mobiles. I had some Nokia ear bud headphones which didn't block out people's conversations even when I had my music files turned up to the maximum volume.
These are the best headphones that I have used in that price range.

Excerpt: These Headphones are brilliant for the small price you would pay for them. The sound is as good as any more expensive branded headphone that I have used. They are also small enough to be able to carry on a journey or day trip with no hassle, and they sit on your head without any weight. I have had much use out of my own and have found them to be very durable, this is, apart from the detatchable lead, of which there are two in the set.
Pros: "Not too expensive", "Quick and Easy to Use", "Great Carry Case", "Great Sound"
Cons: "Inside of case clutters easily", "Poorly made cable"
Summary: Cant believe these were on sale at over £100 once. They are nice, but nothing great. There are numerous wires to lengthen its connection, which to me seems a bit strange but each to their own. The folding earpieces and the protective case are nice ideas, but still wouldnt encourage me to spend more than the £50 I did on them, overall I prefer Inear headphones and have felt better quality for about £30 in that range.
Excerpt: use: from 2.5 years only model tested and purchased for this purpose (tests on the net are very convergent) what I like most is the 1 and 2 audio quality manufacturing and supplied accessories I love the month is the side over ear unbeatable value for money in my opinion I share if it again I would take hi...
Summary: I have my AKGs just over 1 year, purchased based on What Hi Fi reviews, and the right ear stopped working. I purchased direct from Amazon (EU S.a.r.L) to avoid receiving a knock-off and to my knowledge it's the real deal. Low use, well taken care of, just stopped working. I'll attempt a repair but will be switching back to more reliable Sennheiser cans. No complaints with the AKGs apart from that.
Summary: I love the sound and quality of this headphones. I used them with my mobile Xperia Ray to play Spotify or Jango. However, the cables are of very poor quality, The longest cable got somehow broken within the connector (jack) so plays music on one side. The second wire which is shorter got also broken as the rubber thing has a crack and slips off the jack now.
