" The perfect mobile"

El_Becko, Audiofanzine
19 February 2014
  • Excerpt: A few euros OCCAZ or even 50 new I think this little AKG is a good deal. And even it frankly worth align euros more compared to HD 201 or 202 just 20 euros cheaper. But beware it is to take it for what it is and what it was designed: use with mp3 player, smartphone, tablet or mobile recorder. Because even if you sti...

Not Bad...but...not very comfartable after a short period

Chris Ross, Amazon
12 April 2013
  • Summary: Bought these for using in the office, good sound quality, have to keep the volume down a bit incase of noise bleed for others around me, but I haven't had any complaints. Very light and comfortable for a start but after 30 mins or so I get really sore ears (and I'm not talking about inner ear pain from the sound I mean my actual ear is sore like I have feel asleep on a concrete pillow and not moved the entire night), so have to take them off, which when I need to...

Brilliant sound, flimsy build - lasted less than 6 months

swannsong, Amazon

  • Summary: Brilliant sound, flimsy build - lasted less than 6 months. Look elsewere - the cable is made of cheap flimsy plastic and came loose very quickly. Now only have sound in one ear. Thanks AKG - after years of support, you won't get any more of my money.

  • Summary: I use these with my Samsung Galaxy S2. I have an official Samsung flipcase, which has a deep cutout for the 3.5mm earphone socket. Some of the headphones I was trying out did not fit through the hole properly, but these AKGs thin 3.5mm plug fits perfectly. They feel very comfortable to wear, and the built-in volume adjuster is an excellent feature, but I would have preferred to be able to mute the sound completely - but this is not big deal. The sound is awesome.

Cable flaw spoils a perfect pair of Headphones.

steve batty, Amazon
28 June 2012
  • Summary: I have now had two pairs of these and though I love the musical qualities these headphones give, i have found what could be a bit of a flaw. After continual daily use over a 7/8 month period the cable inside the 3.5mm jack shrouding shears leaving the headphones unlistenable. I have now had this problem with 2 pairs. So, even though these 'phones are excellent musically for a closed backed design, treat them with kid gloves.
