- Conclusion: For the price, the excellent AKG K 490 NC noise canceling headphones outperform everything below--and several models above--it.
- Pros: Quality noise cancellation. Excellent audio performance. Does not distort at high volumes. Very comfortable. Can be used passively. Recharges via USB. Removable cable.
- Cons: Protective pouch is compact but probably could use more padding or a shell. On-ear design leaks audio.
