Excerpt: A few months ago I decided to sort my life out and to get organised! Of course, I couldn’t just make a few promises to myself about remembering things and doing things, no, I needed the help of some gadgetry. The gadget was to come in the form of the Toshiba e400. When I decided I wanted to buy a PDA (Personal Digital Assistant) I didn’t really have an idea in mind about what features I wanted from it.
Excerpt: I didn't think when my husband bought this for me that this was a very good birthday present. I'm not that into gadgets; he's much more of a "toy" person. However, after finding out how easy it is to work this, and reading my way through a set of 54 Heinlein books he had downloaded for me, playing a few games, and teaching the transcriber to recognise my handwriting, I was hooked.
Pros: Intuitive to use, compatible with most PCs, "remembers" most recently used functions
Cons: Can be picky about input . Memory supplied with product not sufficient for extensive use as eg E - book reader
