Summary: First of, its BIG. Everything on it is done to a grand scale. So if pocket space is a priority, this many not be the Clie for you. If you want the biggest, baddest Clie made? Then this sucker fits the bill. It works great for Gameboy emulation using LJP a free emulator, and I use it for some palm based diagnostic software for my car using a serial cable.
Summary: If you want a very, very good multifunction PDA get the NX70V not the NZ90,because its a piece of junk. Why? The NZ90 has a repeating service repair design by Sony to soak in $158.00 Just to replace the camera (CCD Block),a sensitive solar panel which is glue on the chasey of (VRAM)which create the so called CCD Block chip. Here the point, the NZ90 is susceptible to heat of 80 degree, and humidity, which dissolve the connection with VRAM.
Summary: I like this little gadget, although it features a crip display screen and backlight, I was dissapointed however since it is useless with out an illuminating key-pad sony droped the ball on that little touch. I think they had something wonderful with this Clie and it seems like they were heading in the right direction but for the hefty price tag i dont see why it does come with an telephone funtion. Not bad but also not the best out there.
Excerpt: "I bought my NZ90 as a second user as this device is grossly expensive if you may not utilise it to the full. I really fancied a reasonably decent digital camera and PDA functionality. I would have preferred a handheld PC but they do not seem to be available with the camera. I bought this unit knowing it was described as the most cumbersome in the Clie range. You cannot have everything, and its size is a compromise. I also wanted the intergrated ...
Pros: Brilliant PDA and camera
Cons: camera often unusable due to poor battery life
Excerpt: the NX90 is probably one of the best handhelds around however it does present a few problems to the average user. Firstly it is highly overpriced almost twice that of an average PDA, thus as a result you obviously pay for the quality. The 2 megapixel camera is an advantage however its limited memory capcity of max 128 mb per memory stick (aroun £50) as this memory is shared between video/pictures/programs.
