OK phone for a touchscreen.

Excerpt: This phone counts as a feature phone. It has a 3 in. touchscreen. You get the Samsung TouchWiz. The screen is OK. It sometimes lags. Texting on this phone, is average. Heavy texters might not like the keyboard, It lags sometimes. The buttons are small too. I couldnt text fast. You can also text with the vurtual dialpad and handwriting recognition. The web browser is pretty standard. You dont get a fancy web browser, but it gets the job done. The camera is pretty nice.
Pros: Nice Camera, TouchWiz, OK UI, Above average photo quality
Cons: Web browser, Menu lags sometimes, Vurtual QWERTY keybard
Excerpt: Purchased the phone in jan of 2010. worked fine for a week then the horrors started. it started freezing all the time and the apps wouldnt open. took it back got a new one . samething happened and the new one kept turning off by itself for some strange reason.Touchwiz is boring and you will be sick of it in a week. theres nothing interesting about this phone at all.
Pros: Touch screen
Cons: Freezes, no multi touch, touchwiz, would have been a better phone if it had a hardware keyboard
Excerpt: : I've seen criticism of this phone as not being a true 'smart phone.' I replaced my Motorola rizr with the Highlight. Samsung has a touch screen phone similar to the Highlight for every major cell prover. T-Mobile's version (Highlight) holds its own. It's one of the few they have which doesn't require a data plan, although to add the data plan is only $10 more a month compared to the usual $25-35.
Excerpt: hi,merry christmas and happy new years.this phone is great because the features is fast and great and the internet is great.to me i think people should get this phone because it is comfortable in the hands, has a nice 3.0camera and it is great.the internet is fast.and it comes with features.so if you read this get it because it is ten times better than the tmobile tap.the t-mobile tap is terrible.it is slow, the internet is not that great, the camera is blurry and you cant...
Pros: the internet is fast, has a 3.0 camera, feels good in hand and you can do a lot of fast things with it.
Cons: sometimes it freezes but it still better than tmobile tap.i dont have no problems with it
Summary: This phone does everything I was hoping for and more. The internet service speed is faster than my husband's new Blackberry and it's easier to navigate.
My only (very tiny) complaint is that when the alarm goes off, it's very easy to push any button (on the side of the phone) accidentally while picking it up. Apparently, that negates any snooze function and means you either have to reset the alarm or get up at that moment, lol. Like I said, it's a tiny complaint.
Summary: I've had my phone for 6 months. Love it. Does what a phone should do. Holds a charge, which was a problem with past phones. Fun, easy to use, nice design. Camera takes crystal clear digital shots and video. So what if the songs play in alphebetical order. And for the fella who didn't understand that there is no free internet service plan offered with any phone out there - it's a decent phone, regardless. I'm getting my daughter one for Christmas.
Excerpt: The highlight is overall a nice phone. If your the type that dosent want something old and not high tech at all and if your not the type to have a really high tech phone then this is your type of phone. The highlight has some nice apps but not many. Samsung should relly try and create a app store for all phones. The real web browsing is really good and handy. The camera is ok but not as good as the behold's. It's screen is pretty cool too.
Pros: Nice design, touch screen, fast, some useful features
Cons: 3.0 megapix unlike the behold's 5.0 megapix's, apps
