Palms are cheap, easy to set up, and easy to maintain

Summary: I have been a confirmed Palm user for a long time and the Palm 31 has been my favorite because of the SD card slot which makes it easy to do a backup every day. I have not made the switch to a phone-based calendar because I like the Palm and I like the fact that there is a PC-based desktop for it. The only downside is that notifications which used to go right to the calendar now have to be entered manually since v-cal is no longer supported.
Summary: For being one who does not want or need a smart phone this vintage Palm Zire 31 fills the bill. My orginal Palm 31 finally "gave up the ghost" and this EBay replacement has been most excellent...at a fair price.
Summary: I purchased this PDA because I lost my original (my fault, I forgot to retrieve from my motel) and needed to have a spare. I had already a spare that I kept well synced and current with the lost one. But now the original spare needed its own spare. I knew that the Palm PDAs are becoming extinct and out of production. So I was glad to purchase this used one, and at a good price.
Summary: I did not want a smart phone or or device to access the internet. But I wanted something small that I could carry in my purse or pocket that would allow me to access my calendar and contacts. I also have a solitaire game on my Palm. This is very handy for me. I tend to switch back and forth between electronic devices and a paper planner, but I keep going back to the Palm. It's so easy to carry around and to hot sync is easy.
Summary: "smirnov3" did not mention in his ad that the Palm 31 that he was selling was without a charger, CD and manual (my apologies if he did mention that which I might have missed) - fortunately I saved these accessories (the charger being absolutely crucial) from my previous Palm 31, otherwise it would have been unusable!
Summary: Of the various Pocket PCs and Palm OS devices I own, the Zire 31 is the smallest and the lightest of the devices I have. I purchased it to interface to my custom built fuel injection computer that I am installing in my old Lotus car. The Zire will be perfect to drop in the pocket on trips and when needed, I can put it on the small center console and do data logging or reprogramming of the fuel injection system.
Summary: I have had a palm for many years. It's a very handy database that is held on my computer as well as the palm 31. I keep addresses; my calendar with reminders; notes on various subjects, games plus more. I highly recommend a Palm for anyone who wants to stay organized.
Summary: I purchased this Palm because I have another one that I really use all the time whether its looking up data or playing games, and my husband started to play the games on it so I purchased one for him. You can also take it with you and be able to look up numbers or dates or play the games while having to sit and wait. I keep track of all my "to do's" so it makes it so easy. Great product!
Summary: I purchased the Zire 31 as a replacement for one I had that finally had died. I stayed with a model I know and all I had to do was synch it with the software that was already on my computer- all my information was again at my fingertips within a minute. This gadget is easy to use, even for someone like me who is not comfortable with complicated options. For my needs, it was the most practical solution.
Summary: I bought this PDA on e-bay because my previous one was stolen. This PDA far surpassed my expectations. It cost less than my original one. It has more features than my original one. The calendar section is great. It allows you to view a week in advance without even entering the calendar function. It also came with a hard protective cover. I would highly recommend it.
