Summary: I need this for recording notes for work and I think the PDA are great to have, I doont like trying to find a carrier case for them, they hold a charge for a long time more so than my cell phone. I also have a T-3 I used for my Tom-Tom GPS mapping when traving, so they are very versatile.
Summary: I love the Palm platform. The Skyscape software could be a little easier to use for a non-medically trained person, but it will do great when my family returns overseas and needs to self-diagnose ourselves again.
Summary: The Palm T5 is about a fourth-generation PDA from the company that popularized it. It has features that endear it to any user (high-res color, ability to view in portrait or landsscape, provision for SD card, USB connection, etc.) and the functions that made Palm a user-favorite.
Summary: I received my T5 within days of buying it on ebay and it was fully charged and ready to go. The T5 was just as decribed - it looked great. Clear screen - it could have been brand new! I had a great seller! Ebay needs more sellers like this where you can get the Tungsten T5's.
Summary: Palm Pilots, generically speaking, are orphans. The OS was last updated several years ago. My Tungsten died, so I borrowed my wife's T/X for a while. Then I went to my cellular provider to check out its supply of smart phones. I found small screens and expensive data plans.
Summary: I replaced my worn out TX with a like new Tungsten T5. Couldn't be happier. I rarely used the WiFi option on the TX because it was so slow. The T5 gives me everything I need. It's got a fantastic screen. I use my PDA's a LOT. In 10 years I've owned 6 Palm PDA's and this is the best yet.
